Password from middleschool, no way to change it

I literally have no way of recovering my account and therefore no way to access the accounts linked to that email. Beyond livid this is a disgrace. Hiding account recovery behind a pay wall due to an outdated and outlived existence is beyond mediocrity and should be reserved for only the lowest of *** Good job Yahoo. you're trash.

Anti-Left, Anti-Trump

Listen, I'm 100% anti-Trump, but truth is truth, fair is fair, Right is Right, so this has nothing to do with perspective. Yahoo does have a biased reporting policy towards Trump, that much I have to be honest about. Their apparent loyalties with the Liberal, Democratic or Left party controls how they report, what they allow to be reported and how often they report any news regarding Trump. Yahoo has never unloaded as many negative or one sided articles of Obama, Clinton or any other Dem. Trump does Lie, he is a horrible person and an unfit president but I need to see the news reporting both sides accurately and fairly. That is my issue, it is obvious Yahoo has more liberal staff than conservative or right. They drill Hollywood stories down Our throat treating the lives, lifestyles and dramas of celebrities as breaking news. Anything LGBT is one sided and biasedly reported. Their entire platform is one dimensional, that is unfair and regardless they should be fair. This is the reason I've decided to discontinue my usage of Yahoo and why I no longer watch any of the major news networks. The agenda that is currently being followed and pushed is dangerous and unfair. Social Media is the foundation of a lot of this hypocrisy, unethical behavior and unfairness. I want Trump out the chair as quickly as possible however Bernie Sanders is as close as I'll go to vote on Democratic next election. Other than him, I'll be voting conservative, I switched over years ago, Democrats have missed a vast majority of their supporters following these Hollywood agendas, Hollywood celebrities and liberal movements that only affect small percentages of their supporters. They've skipped the supporters that are conservative but believe in fairness, helping others and social reform. I can speak for hundreds of prior Democrats in my area who threw in the towel, switched parties because of how one tracked the Democratic party has become. I didn't vote for Obama his second term, I'm not supporting anyone with that ignorant "just because" attitude that many Obama, Hilary and Trump Supporters have. It's an insult to the right we have to vote. As of right now I am neither, Republican or Democrat. I am Anti Trump, Anti-Left and now anti-news. People should really get off social media, pick up a book, meditate, pray do something to elevate your consciousness that will unlock the area of your brain that has become stale from non-use that hopefully enables you to seek knowledge instead of being followers and bigots. We are in trouble as a nation and it is sickening that the very laws we have in place to maintain our democracy are the very laws that are holding us hostage and tearing apart our democracy.

Current and historical contempt shown by Yahoo to the users

Yahoo began dying a slow death the day they closed Geocities. At that time they OWNED email, search and homepage usage on the net. Nobody was even close, the internet was theirs to lose. Geocities meant they also OWNED the "Hobby forum" slice of the internet. Again nobody else was even CLOSE. They SHUT DOWN Geocities despite a huge effort from the users to stop them. They just did not (and never have since) cared one witt about what their users want. Many never forgave them and have never used Yahoo since that day. One fine day a few years ago after some of us had forgiven and forgotten THEY WENT AND DID IT AGAIN. This time is was "Yahoo Groups". They decided all by themselves WITHOUT CONSULTING EVEN ONE YAHOO GROUPS MODERATOR that it would be a wonderful idea to completely revamp Yahoo groups such that searching for past information is now impossible, following threads is now impossible, managing the group homepage is now impossible and nobody wants to use Yahoo Groups anymore. There was a HUGE UPROAR of Groups users complaining that the changes made the groups USELESS..The arrogant and cavalier attitude of the people assigned to answer these complaints was astounding. I estimate 75% of hobby centered Yahoo groups stopped all activity on that day and have not had any traffic since. Now they change their email again without asking our permission or even out opinion. Are they aware that your SPAM folder no longer shows you how many SPAM you have so you are most likely to NEVER empty the damn thing? I find it hard to even LOOK at their new color scheme. No reverting back to the previous format. No choices for the user at all. But that is the Yahoo attitude "You will eat it and LIKE it"! I swear If I did not have a large Yahoo group with many thousands of members I would have been gone YEARS ago.....It really does seem to me that YAHOO HATES ITS REGULAR USERS AND CONSIDERS US TO BE AN ANNOYING CONTINGENT OF HARASSING TROLLS THAT HAVE TO BE CULLED ONCE IN A WHILE. So once or twice a year thay make some sweeping changes to some part of their platform with NO consultation with the user base whatsoever and FLAT OUT REFUSE TO GIVE YOU A CHOICE AS TO WHETHER TO ACCEPT THAT CHANGE OR NOT, IGNORE AND BELITTLE YOUR STUNNED CRIES OF DISSATISFACTION WITH AN ALTERED SYSTEM THAT NO LONGER FUNCTIONS.

New Yahoo home page is awful.

The newest Yahoo homepage is a mess. It looks like a child put it together. I can't find what I want, pictures are too dominant and the screen is crowded on my Fire HD tablet. I usually wait several MINUTES for it to partially load. The previous iteration was faster, more easily searched and not as crowded. This set of changes is a total failure and I guarantee Yahoo won't listen and go back to a proven format. People like new things but people hate change!

YOU ARE SCREWING UP YOUR PERFECTLY GOOD SITE_

I have tried to contact a human for 2 days now and there is nothing but a idiot created round robin. If I knew all the crap you ask for I would not be trying to contact you. I guess you are just too smart to deal with dumb old *** like me. I have been a yahoo user for over 20 years and you add and add more and more *** that I neither want or need! Why must I re-sign in over and over with my "remember sign in", checked!" I have learned to hate you people for your arrogance. Not everybody is a Mensa grad. I may finally give up and go to GOOGLE! Heck, they are probably just as bad. I'm just an 88 yr old Neanderthal. My first computer was an OHIO SCIENTIFIC that could be used as a boat anchor. Maybe you folks need a dose of reality! Tomorrow you too could be gone!

YAHOO MESSENGER

I am so frustrated with yahoo messenger, I would like to throw my whole computer and phone out the freaking window!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't delete any contacts from this messenger and 99 per cent of them are people I don't know, have no contact with and do not want to see on my list every time I open messenger. I have gotten nowhere with any help. It is FREAKING RIDICULOUS! I just want someone to tell me how to get rid of all of these unwanted contacts and it is not happening, and I am pissed beyond belief. How incredibly user UNfriendly and insane that I HAVE NOT ONE OUNCE OF CONTROL OVER MY OWN CONTACT LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yahoo News Comment Discussion Demolished

Yahoo had recently removed the up/down vote system in their news comments. That voting system served as a great way for people to discuss their ideas, view points and offered different point of view to the news article. for example if an news piece was on how a trade deal is bad, some commented would voice a opposite view and support it with further evidence or ideas. and the community can up/down vote it and gauge if that idea is valid or insightful. now it is just a message board that no one can track, no one can evaluate, no one can interact. Yahoo might as well just remove the entire comment system. i am going to google news now until Yahoo revert their changes

Yahoo - Email Service Review from New York, New York

I had the exact same thing happen while I was in Mexico City last February. I could not open my Yahoo email and I called what I thought was the Yahoo help line. It was the exact same story and I paid $349. If I had been home instead of Mexico I would have immediately gone to Apple Genius Bar but because I was traveling I was vulnerable. Yahoo should place a legitimate CS number on the internet. As a result I am slowly cleaning out my Yahoo emails and will be using only gmail.

It's not Yahoo's fault you weren't quick enough to recognize a scam and paid $349. You apparently just did a search for Yahoo customer service and clicked on one of the many scam sites who conned you into paying them money to "help" you.

All you had to do if you couldn't access your email was to click on "settings" and then "help" and proceed from there. You snooze, you lose.
