This is so" SIMPLE"If this company is not meeting your NEED'S SWITCH PROVIDER'S.In this day and time,You can "PICK AND CHOOSE"RIGHT!I am an customer with AT&T.If at anytime they feel like they cannot "FULFIELD MY BUSINESS SERVICE'S"I would have no problem with "DROPPING THEM LIKE A BAD HABIT.(BELIEVE THAT).By the way,I also have YAHOO.And "KNOW .I DO NOT WORK FOR AT&T.I believe in "GETTING WHAT I PAY FOR".

It looks like that the ISP`s , (Internetserviceproviders)block ports which Yahoo uses to send and receice (POP3,SMTP), I wonder why Yahoo dont do anything against it or at least give advices how to handle the situation, I need my yahoo for business too and I run Yahoo through Outlook, in the hotel I can send but not receive, at work I can receive but not send. It *** me off

Yahoo! will disable your account if it is compromised.

After sending customer care an email about not being able to access your account Yahoo! will send you an email showing an excerpt of the Terms of Service where it states that Yahoo! can disable your account for any reason. This is because they don't want to have to admit that they allowed your account to be compromised and instead of spending the time to try to fix my hacked account, they disable your account all together. After years of playing fantasy sports and paying for stat tracker, my account is disabled for no apparently logical reason. Sign in seal? New secret questions? What is the real reason behind these new security features. Why would I need sign in seal if my browser already has phishing protection? I'll tell you why. It's because Yahoo! can't afford to keep up with today's security demands and try to peddle off some new so-called "cutting-edge" security feature like sign-in seal. OMG! sign-in seal! Gimme a break! It's just a bunch of pointless software that Yahoo! promotes to give one the impression that they are "on top of things". Yea right. If your account is compromised, Yahoo! can simply state, "Oh, you failed to do this or that. So now your account is disabled." Or simply send you a copy of the Terms of Service that you've already read and understood. Think about.. it makes sense from a business point of view... if a hacker stole my yahoo account and wanted to try to exploit my email somehow, they could most certainly try and may succeed causing problems to a whole range of peoples. But because it is stated in their yahoo's terms of service that they my disable your account for any reason, they will probably do that instead of having to deal with customer complaints about their emails being used by a hackers.

Yahoo cannot provide me with consistent e-mail service as a premium user.

I am unable to receive and send all of my e-mails via Yahoo and I pay for the service. This has been a problem for well over 6 months. Neither Send and Receive features function properly. Yahoo has been unable to resolve the issue and basically advised that I am not being truthful. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone. I have engaged agents ('Nicole' was the latest) via a specific Yahoo Chat account, but to no avail. I have no choice but to cancel my subscription -- this will take months since my business cards and all of my business contacts have this e-mail.

YAHOO SEARCH MARKETING SUCKS...........

When joined the YAHOO SEARCH MARKETING PROGRAM I the keywords I had selected should not cost me more than$0.20 per clicks and now it has been five days and I have been charged $1.00 each day and all I am getting is 2 clicks a day as per my budget of $1.00 every day. YAHOO IS A BIG SUCKER at first they try to bring customer in their program by offering incentive of $25 and when you do not want to keep the account open you are told that the $30 deposit is non-refundable. so here I am out of my hard earned $30 and without much help to my business. YAHOO SEARCH MARKETING SUCKS......

Yahoo delete my account, won't say why.

I had a Yahoo account for over 10 years and it was deleted without exlantation. I never had any complaints and used many of there services. They never said what it was I did wrong. I contacted them 4 times. They never gave me an answer...just a form letter stating I had 'violated their TOS" When I questioned specifically what "TOS" I had violated, they responded with the same form letter. And the third letter also stated they would never respond to my query again. 10+ years and they couldn't even be bothered to let me know what I might have done to incur their wrath.

yes I agree with you even my account has been deleted from YAHOO answers community they do not like the truth...

#55581

I know what you mean.. Most companies terminate hundreds of accounts per day, and don't require an actual reason why they terminated your account.

This is the same for many companies, as it protects them.

Not your fault.. who knows what happened there, could be a false accusation!

Yahoo Personals misrepresentation

I received an e-mail from Yahoo Personals to try a 7 day "free pass" with Yahoo Personals. I understood that if I did not cancel before the 7 days, my credit card would be charged. I cancelled after 4 days and on the 5th day, the charge went though (the monthly charge) and I was stuck for a whole month that is not in use. When I called, it was pretty much "too bad" and that the free pass was for "new" members only even though it had been over a year since I had subscribed to them. Bad misrepresentation by them and will NEVER use them again

Yahoo Personals - unauthorized recurring charges!

I canceled my Yahoo Personals account some time ago. Turns out, they’ve been charging me ever since, at a rate of $49.95 per quarter. The last time they sent me an email stating that they were about to renew my subscription, I went in and canceled. I have not received any further such emails from them, yet they have charged me quarterly. That’s $200 a year for something I have not used and have no interest in. It may sound flaky that I did not notice these charges sooner, but I was on “paperless” statements from my credit card, plus I’ve been battling Breast Cancer for several months. Needless to say, I have not been interested in dating since I was diagnosed, and being unable to work, I cannot afford these charges! When I contacted Yahoo to try to get a refund, I got nowhere with a representative who repeated the same “I’m so sorry/I understand why you’re upset” script over and over again.

I signed up for Yahoo personals for one '3 month period' years ago, I caneled which took a huge effort, and 3 years later they are still charging me. They have gotton to my bank account information, my visa, and now my AMX.

They are a big internet company and have affiliates with other big internet companies, they are trading information. Fraud.

Yahoo deleted my accounts without giving any reason.

I had an account with Yahoo for 7 years. I was up to level 7 on the Answers forum, with a 25% best answer rate. Out of the blue, no violation notice, no nothing, they not only deleted my Answers account, they deleted my e-mail address and all my personal e-mails contained within, as well. I contacted them three times. They never gave me an answer...just a form letter stating I had 'violated their TOS" When I questioned specifically what "TOS" I had violated, they responded with the same form letter. And the third letter also stated they would never respond to my query again. Here I sit, two months later, wondering what I did to deserve losing my 7 year old account, all my personal information, and a level 7 Answers status. I reported them to the BBB, but so far, no word on what they found out, if anything. IMHO - Yahoo is a joke when it comes to customer service. As in, they have none. Haha. I guess the jokes on us.

You have to remember that a lot of the answers on Yahoo!Answers come from teenagers or college students...much of the advice is hearsay unless a nurse, doctor, or trained professional happens to stumble on the question.

I often find Yahoo!Answers useless.

The tanstore.com does not deliver!

I ordered tanning bed lotion at a considerable discount from the thetanstore@***.com. They say upfront that it could take up to 2 weeks for delivery, with a delivery confirmation number within that periond of time. I ordered on 4/18 and they charged my credit card. Today 4/29 I sent an email stating I would like the status and/or my confirmation number. My reply was the owner was really sick and expected to be in the hospital for several days and they would try and fill orders during this time and please be patient. This is a ripoff organization!

I also placed an order with them on 5/31, sent emails for two weeks asking about order and got no response. I have placed a dispute with the credit card company for the charge. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TANSTORE!

AT&T Yahoo DSL Bunglings

I ordered AT&T Yahoo DSL service after being told I was eligible for their $130 rebates, one of which was for a modem they forced me to buy. After waiting a week for my service to be turned on, I saw that I was receiving no service on the activation date. I spent about 2 hours on the phone, and about the same on chat with so called customer service people, who were very polite, but knew little. A tech was supposed to call me the next day, after running a phone line check. No call, so I call them, they send someone out, and it turns out they turned on service to the wrong address. They cancel my order, and issue a new one to me. Just on a hunch, I make one more call to their number, and ask about the rebates I was promised, and they finally inform me, after the activation date, that I am not eligible for any rebates. I cancel the entire thing, and send back their modem and installation package. Today, I called to make sure the service was turned off, guess what, it's not! I cancel again, not knowing what to do to make sure I won't be billed for anything. The reason for all their bungling, they say, is because of the fact I don't have phone service with them, which I made completely clear several times to the sales person. No problem, they said. This has been a nightmare!

Hi Karen and Lyn,

Karen, why don't you and I ***, while Lyn watches? Then when she needs that sucking and licking so bad, we will both satisfy her.

Winners all around!

Lyn,

Let me try to make you feel better.

Let's *** and we will not discuss money.

Fair enough?

I like Yahoo personals. I´ve met many *** men and women there. I've never been asked for money for sex, but I was offered money for sex, which I refused because I am not a sex worker.

Yahoo problem w/password

I have had this email address with Yahoo for a long time. Today after leaving this site Yahoo asked me to sign in. So put in my password which came back as invalid password. I tried and did everything I was prompted to do and nothing happened. Finally I called and a customer rep asked me some security questions. I know all of them by heart and answered them only to be told I was giving incorrect info. I told him my account must be hijacked because I am being prompted to enter a credit card number. I do not pay for the free account...yet. He refused to help me any further. After 2 hours of trying to fix this problem I gave up and rebotted my computer. There was an error 999 at the Yahoo address. So I can see on my toolbar that I am receiving mail but cannot read it because I cannot sign in. Any one else having this problem??
