See attached "screen shots". Image #1 = Home page. Image #2 = The sites response when you try to sign in. Date: 20 Dec 2015. For days we've been unable to sign into our Yahoo account, access Yahoo email or our Yahoo Fantasy Football league. We've been unable to reach Yahoo via phone or email. Additionally, Yahoo has not bothered to reach out to us or make any announcements as to what's going on. They obviously don't want to discuss it. Why? I know they had an exchange of half their stock in Jan. Quite a bit purchased by them. Are these site/email problems part of an effort to drive their stock even lower in preparation for another buy back and future selling of the company? Whatever the reason, not making an announcement or making themselves available to their customers is an INTENTIONAL ACT. Why? Guess it's time to move on to a company that's more reliable and cares about their customers.

Irreparable e-mail failure

My wife's long-standing Yahoo mail account recently became totally inaccessible. Tried the multiple fixes on the Yahoo troubleshooting site to no avail. Attempted from various devices and browsers to no avail. Then logged into her dormant Gmail account to make it the primary. Was able to import her Yahoo contacts to Gmail, although not her saved e-mails. I had stopped using Yahoo mail years ago. Yahoo is apparently going the way of AOL and others, and we will read about its demise in future tech history.

YUCKHOO!

Been with Yahoo small business for 10 years. Ours was a very simple website+email+merchant starter. Things went bad when we wanted to downgrade to domain registration. Do you know that once you cancel merchant starter, Yahoo! would cancel everything that you had since day one? Yahoo cancelled everything we had. Cancelling was a single button selection; no alternatives or warning of the consequnces. Reaching to Yahoo or aabaco is really a pain. It is worse than then waiting time at the clinic. Talking to customer service at yahoo is no better, because they don't listen to what you need, and they LIE. They lie about calling you back, they lie about the problems you had. Don't these people who talk to you on the smartphone know that smartphones have auto record apps to capture telephone conversations? That, when you promise something or make a statement over the phone, it can be recorded? Yahoo obviously do not know that their brand and company is represented by their contact staff. When Yahoo!'s customer service lie, it represents that the company lie; the people are LIARS! Now Yahoo! would lose our business, and we will tell our friends and business associates what yahoo! did, and they will tell their friends and business associates what yahoo! did, and after a few rounds YAHOO!!!! chapter 11 BOOHOO!!! I had my first NOKIA in 1997 and it was very obvious how NOKIA dug its own grave over the years. When you visit their service centre, pay attention to the kind of staff they have. The staff over here were wearing flipflops with untidy uniform and had language issues when I sent my E61 in....in 2007. I am seeing some similarity in Yahoo! here.

A political agenda of Yahoo

Yahoo is not a neutral and customer-friendly company. Their objective is clear: to convince you to vote for Hillary Clinton. Whether I like her or not is not the problem. My problem is to read "articles" in the News section, that have nothing to do with journalism, that are so non-objective that it looks that the worse kind of propaganda. Yahoo represents the perfect Buffet-Clinton "philosophy": Money and power behind a mask of "we know your problems better than you, little people. Give us your votes and money". Please read twice yahoo's pseudo news, knowing that every title is fake to distract our attention and direct our minds. It is a pity a democracy can produce such the contrary of what is it supposed to offer.

You just recognized the political agenda of Yahoo? With the veritable plethora of other news sites on the web, it's time to avoid Yahoo altogether.

Issues with change to Aabaco Small Business

I recently logged onto my Yahoo Small Business account to make changes to my website, and found that Yahoo had transferred it to Aabaco. I signed up with Yahoo Small Business in 2013, created a website, and and have been able to edit on several occasions. Aabaco is...

I just have a domain name, so Aabaco was too expensive to keep. The service period ended July 16, and I transferred my domain name away on July 9.

Then I get my CC statement saying they charged the $35 on July 3, two weeks before the end of the service period! I called and asked for a refund, and they said sorry, but we're keeping the money.

Yahoo email account

I have several Yahoo email accounts. One was recently deactivated. When I attempted to see if I could re-activate the account or simply sign up for a new account, I was asked for some basic personal info including my age. I am 64. After completing the info I received a message stating I did not meet Yahoo's age requirements. ???? I tried several times, carefully filling in the info they requested. Always got the same response. I assume this is a glitch in their system, not blatant age discrimination. After searching for 30 minutes for a way to contact Customer Support (does it really exist?), I sent them a message explaining my problem. Have gotten no response.

it's bad enough yahoo changed it's home page.

but to lie to people and tell them to pay ms 399.99 to fix a broken computer is wrong. to tell people they have been hacked,or have a virus is wrong.

i have 5 computers in my home and at lease 50 friends and relatives with the same problem. sounds like they just don't want to correct the problem, or does ms have a say in this?

#1102295

Gaaawwd.......(1/28/16)....loathe this new Yahoo home page, and I SO want the news slide show back as well! I have no time, nor NO desire to, scroll down "miles" as on poster said, to read what's new!

This is HORRIBLE Yahoo!!!! At the very LEAST, bring back the news slideshow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the best part of your "old" home page! (at least for me)

#1102280

the new homepage they forced upon us today, 1/28/2016, is horrible. iam now looking for a new site as my go-to site because I am tired of all the "improvements" that Yahoo keeps putting in place, which only make the site worse.

whatever yahoo. keep on doing what you're doing, and you will lose the few loyal users you have had.

#1079736

I agree, I want the slideshow view back. Scrolling down miles in order to see everything sucks.

Computer Repair & Services, Inc My horror show !!

I called Xfinity for help with a minor yahoo email problem. They were kind enough to look up customer support re yahoo and remarked that yahoo had 5 numbers???? He innocently picked one that was a bogus boilerplate operation (btw on another call I heard no background very busy conversations -they must have wize up it was a tip off to some that there was something fishy--they are very clever) in India with a U.S. address somewhere in Pa. as I recall. The number the good man at Xfinity picked was one that was set up to appear as a legitimate yahoo support number (1-80*-675-****). I was put in touch with a person in India who said his company handles yahoo's technicalcustomer problems and quickly told me he needed to get into my computer to make repairs. I ended the call and told him I was old and hard of hearing and my son would call him back. now let's back up to my first incident. I had called Xfinity re email prob and since they don't support yahoo email he googled up another as it turned out a number that routed me to a lady saying she was with yahoo and gave me 1-80*-870-**** another bogus number using Computer Repairs & Services to make them seem legit or either a third party outfit that purported to represent yahoo. They did not.

The New Main Page Sucks

So - Yahoo! sprung a new main page on us - and now I can't scroll sideways through the little news slideshow - what was wrong with the old one? And if there's a picture claiming that the historic Jesus looks like Cro Magnon Man, I can't 'X' it. At least when Yahoo! or some other outfit changes the mail client, there's an option to go back to the 'classic' view. That would be nice. Of course, I have to type eighty words or this won't get read. And all this time I've been trying to be concise...

No longer interested in yahoo for news at all. Slideshow does not work no matter the search engine. Dropping off the radar here.

Aabaco Small Business Offshoot Does Not Let Me Cancel or Delete CC info

I called Aabaco customer service number because they continue sending me emails to update my credit card info. I never registered with them or updated my cc info.

I called them to let them know that since it was no longer Yahoo, I no longer wanted the service. The guy on the phone kept running me around in circles. he kept telling me that he wanted to record the call for business purposes. I said that's cool as long as I can also record you for my protection.

He became very loud, rude, and argumentative but I held my ground and insisted. He finally said he could no longer speak with me unless I agreed not to record him but still let him record me. WTF?

The call ended right hter. I am gonna block them from my AMEX my CC.
