Yahoo Mail Review from Odessa, Texas

I have called NUMEROUSE times, different days, at different times and I ALWAYS get the same guy! I've had my yahoo mail for years! One day I couldn't open my mail because I needed to enter my password which I had forgotten over the years. This guy told me my mail had been "compromised" an for $99.99 he could get it back on. But yahoo states their help is ALWAYS FREE right? It's the program they have to buy to fix this "Compromised" e-mail. I've asked to speak to his Supervisor and he says "no", that's how I know this guy is always there! I've called ALL the phone numbers Yahoo has listed on the Internet, ALL OF THEM! I do not believe my e-mail was compromised for one second. I cannot get a *** to have his Supervisor to call me, NO HELP FROM THIS "person" at all!!! Yes I'm very pissed off! Let's just see how far this goes!

Yahoo morph to Aabaco a failure

Problems with all facets of former Yahoo Small Business since Aabaco entered the scene. NOTHING works. NO support. This is FRAUD. I HAVE ASKED TO BE INCLUDED IN PENDING CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. I hold Yahoo responsible for selling my website and my personal and business information to such an irresponsible, shady outfit as Aabaco. I have been a mostly satisfied Yahoo Small Business client since 2010. The switch to Aabaco has been completely disastrous. I have begun checking out alternate service providers. I want out of this Aabaco *** they have created.

AABACO will hold your domain hostage, refusing to release it, charge you money without authorization and without telling you beforehand via invoices emailed or snailmailed, and CONTINUE CHARGING YOU AFTER YOU CANCEL YOUR DOMAIN because they refuse to allow you to remove billing info off your account. I tricked them by going to PAYPAL and cancelling payments there and then removing my debit card off of payments, leaving only the PAYPAL that I had cancelled their payments from.

I had $43.95 stolen off my debit card, and they tried to bill paypal 36 hours AFTER they sent me a CANCELLATION CONFIRMATION email.

Had I NOT removed my debit card, they would have stolen another $45!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM RIGHT NOW FOR THEIR ILLEGAL BILLING PRACTICES, IN CALIFORNIA. I AM TRYING TO GET IN IT.

I cancelled 2 of my 3 domains and DEFINITELY WILL BE TRANSFERRING THE OTHER ONE AWAY FROM THIS RIPOFF COMPANY!!!!

Aabaco allows spammers and bogus traffic to your site and doesn't have any way to stop it, they don't allow .htaccess files. Bogus company, I have been with Yahoo since 1996 Aabaco SUCKS

It's the same company. Aabaco is still a part of Yahoo! and all of the small business staff is the same as it has been for the last 2 years.

Worst company

Yahoo just created a new homepage and there is no way to back out to the old style. Can't scroll through the news headlines any longer - just a few boxes and that is all we get. Worst homepage ever. I will use another site for reading the news, and just use Yahoo for mail. Every time they change something, it is for the worse. It becomes more confusing and more difficult to use with every change - and the style of mail is extremely difficult to track your incoming mail and your responses. UGH

I too cannot stand the new Yahoo page as it is horrible to read through the stories much less comment, or see your comments as we used to be able to. I was able to access the old format on my Ipad running version 9.2.1 and in private mode. Not sure if this will help many of you.

My Thoughts completely This new format is the worst. Now they have half a stories on a page then comes Continue on next page or whatever it says .The article starts at the beginning all over again and you have to find where you left off.

Cant click through stories like you used to be able to.

Yahoo cares nothing about its users only advertisers and the Kardasions ! and bad Tech support

Their new homepage is horrible! I've been using Yahoo as my homepage since the late 90's.

Each change that they've made through the years has seemed to get worse and worse. I've put up with it all along but no more. Looks like I'm going to need to find a new homepage. I hate the format.

I hate the layout. I hate the limited content that they now have.

I hate the fact that you can't get a choice in what you want to see. I'm done with it.

Worst Technical Support on the Planet!

Emails were accidentally deleted and I asked for them to be reinstated....massive mistake! The 'free' service threw every email we had had (over 12000) back into either inbox or deleted box...in many cases the wrong mail box, nothing was put back into sub folders...so paid the $100+ and then it started. Very poor communication, not clear what my money would get me, told it would take 4 hours, then 24 hours, then after massive frustration spoke to supervisor...72hrs. Still not right....I give up...useless!!! Never again!!!

Yahoo/Aabaco

I had a domain through Yahoo with 5 email addresses and everything worked fine until the switch to Aabaco. Only one address remain working and the others just disappeared and I get an error message when I try to recreate them. I have emailed customer help many times since October but I have been either asked to resubmit my question or reply that it has been solved (it hasn't) and closes the case. I have to resubmit the issue again and again.... I have never come across a customer service this bad.

Called to get help reactive an account that was accidentally deactivated. Called 1-80*-611-****, spoke to 2 different reps, both could hardly speak English and were the most ignorant people

Never have I dealt with such ignorant incompetent people, they are not Customer Service, they need to learn how to speak English and learn what the meaning of customer service is. Pathetic! You need to learn how to talk to people and if you don't know how, do not work in Customer Service, go work where you don't deal with the public. Again, learn ENGLISH!! Can't stand people coming to the USA wanting to work but not wanting to learn how to speak so we in America can understand them. Don't like you job, QUIT!

WTF is going on with Yahoo Mail???? CONSTANT errors, can't access folders, non-stop page timeouts. I've cleared everything, rebooted etc. Not a rookie here. YAHOO - FIX YOUR ***. IT SUCKS AND I'M GOING TO SWITCH TO GMAIL. Seriously, feed the squirrels in your centers. They are dying, if not dead. I've about had it. I really used to rely on Yahoo Mail, but it's so inconsistent and aggravating that I'm almost done with it, even though I like the interface better than GMail. Oh, how the mighty have fallen....

Yahoo seems to have stole my money

Yahoo wallet accepted by payment in December then Aabaco says I owe them money. Both organizations are incompetent and possibly corrupt. If you cancel your service they claim they keep whatever you paid for the services which you may or may not have gotten. Aabaco also refused to accept foreign banks or paypal opened in foreign countries. Basically what I am saying is their system and service is a total *** up and when it fails you, they blame you and expect to steal your money. Well, that's my take on it. I hope the CEO of yahoo gets jailed for her abuse and incompetence in running yahoo. It once had hope. May she rot in net ***.
