EMAILS

I've had my yahoo email for over 18 years. I am ready to give it up. PLEASE let me read my emails, or let me know how much it is going to cost to be able to access my emails. Cannot read or open emails for several minutes. This is RIDICULOUS!!!! PLEASE give us a choice don't just hijack our emails. Give us options like other business. If you do not want to provide a FREE service let your customers know the options. Thank you!!

I dumped yahoo for outlook a couple years ago and haven't looked back. There's an option for you.

AAbaco Small Business transistion sucks

Have spent numerous times on hold. Always says 20min is never less than 45min. Not receiving email responses from Aabaco. Always told issue will be resolved in a couple of days and its not. This is week 3 now. Can not change or cancel plan. Can not change billing...

The New Main Page Sucks

So - Yahoo! sprung a new main page on us - and now I can't scroll sideways through the little news slideshow - what was wrong with the old one? And if there's a picture claiming that the historic Jesus looks like Cro Magnon Man, I can't 'X' it. At least when Yahoo! or some other outfit changes the mail client, there's an option to go back to the 'classic' view. That would be nice. Of course, I have to type eighty words or this won't get read. And all this time I've been trying to be concise...

I can't stand the new home page. Topics like politics, tech, and sports are scattered and not in separate sections, a total fail. I bailed on Yahoo including their email.

No longer interested in yahoo for news at all. Slideshow does not work no matter the search engine. Dropping off the radar here.

I agree, that slideshow of the news was the reason I stuck with Yahoo for so long, may look for a different place now, don't feel like scrolling a mile down the page to see what I want.

Yahoo! needs to stop hiring preschool kids for their design team. Bring back the old version of the home page!

No mass deletes

Before the latest update (Oct 15 or so, 2015), one could tap a trash icon beside the Trash and Spam icons to do a mass deletion of all emails. Now you have to select each and every spam or trashed email, swipe to the left and then tap the red "Delete" area to erase it; one by one. I'll ignore the worthless pictures/icons to the left of each email for now. That's just idle junk that has no meaning. But to remove a key functionality of the app is a travesty. Someone surely screwed the pooch this time. For now, when asked about emails, I recommend people do not -- REPEAT -- do not use Yahoo.

I use Yahoo and can delete all the trash emails by just clicking on the trash can button. I use a PC and Yahoo works rather well, compared to say, the new Charter email monstrosity.

With Firefox and addons like Blur and Adblocker, I never see ads in my email, etc. Perhaps you are using a phone or tablet?

Yahoo Changed My Email Address

Yahoo has changed my email address and gave my original address to someone else! Yes, the address I have used for several year, the same address that is currently registered with my Facebook, eBay, bank and many more. I also use my address for my work. I received no notification from Yahoo that they would do this and would certainly not consent to it it they did let me know. It had to have been changed by Yahoo as I don't think it's possible for someone to transfer an email address from one Yahoo account to another. I can no longer send mail from this address as it's no longer listed in my account but still receiving my email as normal, I'm now also receiving the email that's being sent to the person that Yahoo gave my address too. I tried to contact Yahoo regarding this only to find that they have removed any way for Yahoo account holders to contact them. I'm seriously disappointed with Yahoo for this. Not only is it a breach of my own personal security (the emails registered with my bank, PayPal, Facebook and loads other places) but it's also a very unprofessional thing for them to do. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anybody know how to contact Yahoo Customer Service?
