Yahoo tried this once before and had a billion complaints. They removed the button to view my comments, all of them, all articles.
People that comment like to see how others react to their point of view. Without that feedback people will stop commenting. Perhaps that's the corporate motive, but if people can't participate they will stop using Yahoo, just as I have.

I have had Yahoo for over 30 years, and I believe I am finally going to find another website more reliable than your service. You have no one to talk to that's alive!
I will leave you as soon as I decide on a new website for my needs. The reason for leaving is that my spam account fills with dirty, vulgar scams and messages 3 or 4 times a day. I do not have the time nor the patience to fill out each email address to delete them one at a time! If you can correct this problem, I will stay.
If not, I will go on a campaign asking everyone else who uses Yahoo to go elsewhere also. It probably doesn't matter to you, but it will give me some satisfaction. I can't believe you allow this filth on your website!

I would believe many elderly people have been ripped-off of hundreds of dollars then must go thru numerous hoops in their efforts to get their money back, if at all, likely giving up because of their cognitive issues and/or being worn out by the process.
I'm guessing most don't even try for a refund out of embarrassment. I too would have been ripped-off if not for my bank raising a red flag yet still had to go thru the hassle closing out and replacing a credit card plus the dozens of unanswered that followed.

I think this is deplorable customer service. I want to speak to a real person, but it seems the phone number listed online for customer service is no longer valid, and no one at Yahoo was astute enough nor gracious enough to take it off the web. I thought it rather crass to call your customers pissed off; however, you angered and disappointed me enough to be crass too and say I am pissed off.

There wasn't any Yahoo solution. I gave up contacting them and chose Gmail.
If you have a problem with Yahoo, try all your solutions. If that doesn't bring about a solution, go to another mail setting.
I am unable to sign in to my Yahoo account. I think I tried too many times and Yahoo locked access to my account.
I tried to obtain help via a 'chat' conversation to no avail. The 'chat' asked me if I would like to talk to a 'live representative.' So I chose to talk to a representative.
That didn't work as there wasn't a 'representative' available. HELP!!
